1811 Resaturante Bar

Everything was perfect and delicious, service was exquisite. Went with friends and everyone mentioned how great their food was. I will definitely be visiting them again as soon as I return to Cartagena.

Great Italian place. Hard to find in colombia, specially in Cartagena where the "Italian" food is mostly the colombianized ideal of Italian food. This restaurant offers the mild and amazing flavours if Italy. Excellent meat ravioli! .. And great service btw.

Food is truly italian, specially the hand-made pasta. However, the place is too simple. While the food was good, I expected more from the other reviews.

Was expecting so much more based on other reviews. Was pressured to enter the restaurant as I looked at the menu from the outside. Ordered the Puttanesca & asked for it medium spicy. It was a little too uncooked to even be Al dente. The waiter didn't come over at any point t ask if I needed anything else and I had to ask three times for the bill before anyone took notice. The bill had 10% service which I said I didn't want to pay (service had been awful and it isn't usual to have it in the bill in Cartagena). He removed it but made a point of asking me twice if I was sure I didn't want to pay it. When he brought my change he stared very pointedly at me whilst j took the change and actually felt like I had to leave some of it as I felt so uncomfortable. Far cheaper and tastier options nearby for less money! (38,000 cop for a water and a pasta with no meat in it.)

We had the restaurant to ourselves. The food was very tasty and the service was good. We did order an appetizer, which we never got, but we didn't complain or mention it. We had an enjoyable evening and a great meal to go with it!
