Rose and Crown Pub - Calgary

I love their steak sandwich on Monday nights, it's one of my go-to choices. And the meatloaf is absolutely delicious, definitely worth a try. The service is top-notch, with attentive bartenders and quick, friendly floor staff who know how to keep the room running smoothly. Overall, you won't be disappointed if you give this place a try.

The service was excellent during a busy wing night. Calgary offers some of the biggest chicken wings around, and the beer is always cold. I chose the jerk wings because they are so amazing that I didn't want to try any other flavors.

I hadn't visited this restaurant in a while but I was craving the bison shepherd's pie. It's absolutely amazing, even though I usually don't like game meat. I tried the bison here once before and now I can't get enough of it! When we called to confirm the kitchen's closing time, they said 11:30. We arrived around 11 and a man, possibly the manager, informed us that the kitchen had already closed. However, he went to the back and returned with a gift certificate for our next visit, apologizing for not waiting for us before closing. Despite reading negative reviews about poor service at this restaurant, our experience was quite the opposite. We were greeted promptly and assisted even though the kitchen was closed. The waitress even smiled at us and made sure we were taken care of. I will definitely be coming back here!

I have had the pleasure of experiencing 'The Rose ' many times and every time has been great. The servers are always smiling and very attentive and the bartenders are very fast and entertaining. From jokes and banter on a slower night to really creating a fun atmosphere on the weekends these guys are great! The beef and barley soup is one of the best I have ever had. From lunch with my mom to a night out with the boys I have never had a bad time. It 's nice to see a place that still has good live music instead of a dj. If you have the chance check it out!

Top Notch Service. Today I met a friend for lunch at the Rose Crown. I haven't been in this establishment since the Smirnoff Red Door party early last year and was looking forward to the visit. With the choice of ANYWHERE we would like to sit, we graciously chose the Patio. Our server Shelby was AMAZING!!! We ordered lemon water and Nacho's to share. The food was fast, hot, fresh and delivered to the table with a smile. The kitchen staff made sure we had everything we needed. Shelby checked back frequently on our Nachos and to make sure our waters were topped off at all times! I have to say IT WAS AWESOME!!!!! I have noticed that it is very hard to find a great server in this day and age, especially a server that has no issue with refilling a lemon water. Sometimes establishments and servers pay only attention to those drinks worth (pop/ alcohol)I have also called the Rose Crown so that the management is aware of the great service from Shelby and the great menu of food available . THANK YOU 5 stars!!!!!!
