Phil's Restaurants - Calgary

This place was near my hotel so I came here for breakfast before hitting the road.

We stopped in for breakfast for the first, and last, time this past Saturday Both my daughter and I were extremely disappointed with our meals.

This was close to our Hotel so thought we would try it out. It was quite busy when we arrived but were seated quickly. It looks like it could use an update but it was clean. Waitress was super friendly and gave us lots of attention. The menu is pretty good and has a variety for all preferences. The meals came hot but I did find them a little on the skimpy side. If you are a big eater, you will be looking for food after. I highly recommend the chicken rice soup if they have it, some of the best I have had.

When we come to Calgary, we always make a point of having breakfast here. There are so many good choices. I enjoyed pancakes with blueberry compote, while my wife had French toast with apple compote. No complaints. Service was good and the price was right. We will return.
