Nights And Weekends - Calgary

We made a reservation in advance so when we were there the hostess told us to wait couple minutes when three ladies sitting close to the window were about to leave which is absolutely fine to us. We were standing by the door and waiting and then a man just walked in and seemed to know the people who worked there. Couple minutes later the hostess told us the three people (who was the man’s party just walked in after us) have been waiting so they have to give our table to them and sit us in to the spot closest to the entrance and we were freezing. It defeats the purpose of making reservations and made it look so bad that you gave the table to someone who came in after us in front of the customers just because you know them. Food tastes good but the service was disappointing.

Great food and service. Small menu but everything tasted great and a nice variety of options. Flavour was on point not overly salted, nicely balanced. Service was prompt and waiter was attentive. Enjoyed the open concept feel and love the fact that the menu changes every few weeks. Cozy ambience. Highly recommend.

Really enjoyed it. Good atmosphere, cosy. Mushroom dish was delicious. Server was attentive, fun and made it a great experience. Even if he had no shrimp or Sauvignon blanc left!!!

Nights and Weekends is such a great cozy restaurant with tasty flavours that include fresh ingredients and creative menus for both food and drink. Great value for good food!

I love it when places like this pop up in Calgary. Small menu but amazing dishes and cocktails. Sipped on all their bottled cocktails and tried a few dishes on the menu , we will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!
