We visited stephen angst and loved his show. He's so talented and comes as a really decent man. the food and service was also excellent. we enjoyed our eating and drinks and our server, amanda, has a great job. that was our first trip to ironwood, but not our last.
Entertainment and eating were excellent! server joanne was amazing to keep the packed house and take care of all! we're coming back!
There are too many bars and restaurants that squeaky clean and striped of atmosphere everywhere they go so that I was pleasantly surprised when I went to the first time in the ironwood to check it. in the old interieur. wide wooden stage and photo-prayed walls, I have wondered about the original history of this place, as it did not seem to have deviated too far from the garry the roots of the theater thanks to the intention of the owner. were the curtains on the back of the stage as old as they appeared? when was the stage built? only one guide of the building itself would be ground enough to visit. how many ghosts have still walked through this building? it was refreshing to be rushed into pastness, almost to the point that I was not aware that the open microphone performance before me. there were more choices on the menu for drinks, as I asked for a cooler or a cocktail and was directed on beer that I did not drink, or wee that I could have once a month, although the personal offered to prepare a cocktail and were friendly and prompt. I went to the house wine that was appropriate. a healthy choice on the menu seemed to be a Caesar salad, but I wish I would stay home and pulled some romaine out of my garden to get the fresh that I am used to. However, I managed to get a drink and an salad for about $20, which was my limit for the night. I always remembered that I wasn't really there for eating or drinking, or even the open microphone music that was a duo that had worked out her songs well enough so I shouldn't complain. I just explored inglewood and his attractions. I may not have found unique in the food, drink or entertaining, but found it in the atmosphere of ironwood.
Had the pleasure of listening to Mkke Plume again last night at the Ironwood. Not only did he hit it out of the park, my wife and I both fish and chips! Best halibut I have had it some time.
