Edo Japan - McKnight Village - Calgary

I finally had the opportunity to dine at this restaurant and I absolutely loved it! The Bento box was fantastic. I will definitely be going back!

I came here for lunch yesterday and was not let down! The food was fantastic!! I ordered the Bento box with beef yakisoba, spring rolls, and giant gyoza. A special thanks to the cashier who lowered her mask so I could read her lips as I am hard of hearing.

The sushi rolls at this restaurant are delicious and well-priced. They are freshly prepared and consistently tasty. However, the wait time for orders can be quite long, especially during busy hours. Even when it's not busy, expect to wait around 20 minutes for your sushi order. Despite the wait, the quality of the food makes it worth it. I used to visit this restaurant regularly and miss it since moving away from the area. I highly recommend trying it out if you're in the area.

First, it is delicious! I love the sushi rolls and you simply can not beat the price. It is freshly prepared and they get it right every time. However, they always take incredibly long. Do not try to order any of the sushi rolls during a lunch rush, as I always have to wait 30 minutes while seeing everyone else getting their rice and noodles orders first. When its not busy at all, it is still a fairly long wait, about 20 minutes for 'fast food' sushi. Having that said though, it is definitly worth the wait. I have moved away from the area and I miss Edo all the time! We used to go here at least 3 times a week. :)

Only managed to find the food truck once but what an experience it was! I had the butter chicken vietnamese sub and passionfruit iced tea for my lunch.
