White Rose Vegetarian Kitchen - Calgary

Great food, neat pairings which I would not have tried at home. The appy and main portion sizes were good for one person, desserts would be good to share. The service on the patio was so-so, slow with cutlery, had to ask/remind and got the food order wrong. However, from some of the cute things like the silver bill trays with eggplant paper weights, it is clear that they owners are trying to make an effort to raise scale and it was likely just the server we experienced. Overall, a good impression and will be back!

As a non-vegitarian I thought the food was simply fantastic. We'll be back, again.

I am a vegetarian with celiac disease and most restaurants have one or two items I can eat. At White Rose it's the opposite, I can eat everything except for one or two items. It's really nice having so much selection. Not something I'm used to. And everyone else in our group of 5 enjoyed the meal too, including a vegan and two meat lovers! Will be back for sure.

I thought the food was good and would definitely like to try some other menu options. We both had the risotto cake which was good but the chunk of radicchio on the side was very bitter tasting and neither of us ate more than a couple bites. Maybe re-think that part, other than that it was delicious. The chick peas snack plate was a tasty snack while perusing the menu.
