Tj's Cafe - Calderdale

Shocking customer service, eating was below average. in any case, would not return, not a worker smiled while we were there and the place was icy! it was table service that only works when the staff comes to their table instead of asking...a few times

Tjs used to be a decent caffe a few years ago, but it really did, really went down hills. when we entered, we were not greeted with smiles and the staff was very uninterested and unfriendly. they looked like they didn't want to. be there at all and just looked atmospheric. everything including the table tops and drinks we ordered seemed sticky and unclean, even the floor was a bit sticky. our order was taken quite quickly when we arrived from a very grim looking waitress, which then served us our drinks with dirty glasses. the diet coke was made of a multipack and was marked definitiw. we had also ordered 2 vegetable salads with salad and garlic bread and a part of the chips that old took in. To be honest, asking the waitress to submit a part of the chips to our order after her was a mistake, as she looked irritated and as if we had ruined her all day. I think the pictures of eating can speak. the chips were the only decent part of the meal. the lasagnen looked like sick with hardly veg/pasta, the garlic bread was stale and the salat was dry. it was nothing small. when my friend explained why she had not touched her eating and why I had hardly touched mine, the waitress reacted to “Number normal people like it is.” As if we were joining, we were not normal. it actually felt like she was starting to argue with us that was absolutely not ok. there was no word from the owner/cook and the owner seemed more interested in sitting outside on his phone. we paid £17 for nothing. they do not accept a card, and that is not a doubt to pay the tax. no surprise. such a scandal that the owners seem to have lost their passion for the caffe, as they were very friendly earlier and that is what brought us back. the personal really needs a training. we will not visit again.

We were through the opposite and tried this facility, as our usual had closed. very impressed how clean and efficient the place was. the staff was very friendly and helpful and cleanliness was impeccable. Eating and coffee were very nice and would welcome this place very much.

Lunch yesterday. platz was ice cold, no heating and had to sit with motels. tuna sandwich and chips order and a Mexican chicken bagel . tuna too full of mayo and was made of sandwich drops . chips that were costed by used oil. Mexican chicken bagel was roasted, but cold filling! too much mayo and fell out of bagel. no cute supplied to eat it. asked for thunfish in the granate which was given throughout the meal. what is the point to ask! overall a bad experience and not recommended

Went in yesterday and ask for cajun chicken sandwich and what they give me i dont know what it was wont be going again
