Murphys Hideout-wine - Calaveras County

It is a new place now. Called Above the Rush . They have great wine and they pair it with little bites. So fun. Today is there opening day September 24th 2022

I wanted to like their street tacos. I didn't, but I really wanted to. Lacking flavor. Tortillas cold. Salsa tasted watery.

The menu was Basically appetizers the wines were from the Livermore valley and not very good. Sorry but the help was very nice and accommodating, when we told her the Chardonnay was not good she didn't charge us. Skip this on your wine tour in Murphys

We have enjoyed both experiences we have had at this new establishment. Fun atmosphere and friendly staff. Wine, beer, soda, water, and great food. All the best to this new establishment.

We didn't get good service, the wine tasted old, white wines were not chilled (slightly warmed). little to NO knowledge of the wines, was told no food was available.
