Chen Family Garden - Calais

We have eaten here many times over the past couple of years and enjoyed the food and watching the kids grow up and provide outstanding service. The food has always been freshly prepared and seasoned superbly.

The best chinese quisine i have ever eaten. The service is the warm and personable, and relaxing. They have the best crab rangoons on the planet !! THE BEST EVER. I have been coming here since they opened their doors. The quality of servive and food has never declined one little bit !

The food here is typical of many American Chinese-sryle cuisine establishments but the portions are absolutely massive! You know you really have gotten your money's worth when you're eating it into the next day.

The food here is fantastic and packed with incredible flavor. I must highlight the portion sizes, as they are generous enough that you can often get three meals from a single order. This makes the prices exceptionally good value, despite the initial sticker shock. The only reason I didn’t give a full five stars is due to the perception of cleanliness and the outdated decor; Chen’s Family Garden could really use a remodel. However, if you’re okay with a more casual, dive restaurant vibe, you’re in for a truly enjoyable dining experience.
