Maryland Fried Chicken - Cairo

The restaurant was quite busy, but the staff was efficient. I tried the chicken sandwich (it was a special, not a fillet) and it was decent. The atmosphere was nice and the place appeared to be clean.

I made a mistake by leaving the payment at the wrong restaurant, but the owner of this place contacted me about it and handled the situation with great integrity. I’m giving this restaurant a 5-star rating because of the owner's ethical standards. We need to support businesses that still uphold strong values, and this is definitely one worth spending your money at. You can feel confident that you're protected by honesty while ordering and enjoying your meal here.

I arrived 15 minutes after placing my order. When I got there, I paid, grabbed my drinks, and noticed that they had put bags of takeout on the hot bar. I waited for 20 minutes for food that was already prepared when I arrived. Both plates were dry, and the fries were cold. It's clear that they need staff who are more attentive and have better customer service skills. This will be our last visit to this restaurant.

The worst service I've ever received in the business of Maryland in Cairo was very good. What a fast food.

Been to many a fried chicken joint in the South. This place is top of my list. Do yourself a favor and try this chicken. Chicken so good your Granny will be jealous!
