Levante Pizza E Birra Rubiu - Cagliari

Normally when the name of a place is literally Pizza and Beer, you don't expect much. We didn't even look this place up, it just happened to be the closest restaurant near our hotel and we landed late and just wanted a quick meal. But WoW!!! The pizza was incredibly delicious you get endless choices of pizza dough, toppings, etc., and rather than decide we just picked the day's special which was a smoked swordfish pizza it was spectacular and full of flavour. We also shared a cured meat starter which was equally tasty. But that's just the pizza...the Beer was also really really really good. I am writing this within an hour of finishing our meal (which was extremely cheap at under EUR 40 for 2 including 3 beers)...and I am planning to go back tomorrow.

One of the best pizzas in Sardinia. The craft beer is also wonderful. If we ever visit the island again will definately go there.

Always buzzing, always busy. It's a micro brewery selling beer and pizza only. Wow! The menu gives lots of info on the beers, my wheat beer was delicious and I'm not normally a beer drinker. The pizzas were large and delicious too. We got the last two seats (in the window) and watched loads of people arriving expectantly and being turned away. Do book a table if you want to be sure of eating there.

I really enjoyed the place. The environment is s bit sterile but I loved the selection of beers. Also very good that several types of doughs are offered. I wasn’t wowed by the pizza but I think I made a poor choice of condiments. I’d like to go again and try a different pizza.

Great pizza and craft beers. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. We got there soon after opening on a Sunday without needing to book. It filled up quickly though.
