The Anglesey Arms - Caernarfon

Great place right at the sea. many seats in the open. separate bar and restaurant area. very friendly staff. we were there on Saturday night. nothing was too much annoyed. I enjoyed the Greek salat and the goat cheese arancini. reasonable price and a good selection of drinks. beautiful atmosphere. only one point, there are only two toilets. during the busy times, the queues can be quite long, so do not leave it to the last minute! would definitely recommend. breathtaking view over the seafront.

Good atmosphere and drinks and eating! pretty busy/popular, but still timely and helpful from the personal. the muscheln were delish. lamb Curry-Special was delicious. I enjoyed the hobgoblin ruby ale. love how dog friendly it is. we also enjoyed the view of the water

After an extended tower climb in caernarfon castle collapsed here. pleasant looking pub with a series of beer including purple moose, my first taste. mmm not bad. looks like having a decent menu. I wish I had stayed for dinner, but I wanted to go on exploring.

What a lovely place to come, on a mini break and needed to go somewhere dog friendly as the German Shepard was in toe. We where greeted with the warmest of welcomes and even the dog got his own pile of treats. Staff where friendly and attentive and couldn’t of asked for more. The fish was fresh flaky and well cooked, the burger my partner had was also delicious. Would highly recommend anyone who is in the area or just visiting to try this place out. Small menu offerings but what they offer is cooked well and reasonably priced. Look forward to a visit in the future :

Popped in for a drink to get out of the rain, glad we did, lovely and cosy in the bar. Beer good, made to feel welcome. Will visit again, hopefully when the sun is shining as they have a lovely beer garden over looking the water.
