Closest thing you're going to get to New York style Pizza in San Marcos period. Only problem is they're not always open. Extremely odd hours, and not open on Sundays and Mondays.

I recently had the pleasure of picking up a couple of pies from Pizza Union, a charming pizza joint that has mastered the art of New York style pizza. My wife is from New York and she said it's the only authentic New York pizza in North County. One standout feature of Pizza Union is their commitment to using the finest and freshest ingredients. The tomatoes in the sauce burst with a natural sweetness, and the cheese has that perfect gooey, melt-in-your-mouth texture. The toppings are diverse and plentiful, catering to every palate. Buddy and I went to Union Pizza. Hands down the best pizza I've had in California. They had a deal to get two slices and a drink for $7. Buffalo pizza was so good. Guy manning the oven with the beard was very nice. Asked how our food was, and it came out super quickly. Amazing service. Also had free cheese, pepper flakes, and Italian seasoning, whereas other places charge you. There's a domino's in this strip mall. Don't go there. The pizza here is too good to miss out on.

Really excellent! The garlic knots are superb! The spagetti and meatballs are delicious! And the pizza is so tasty! All low salt but delicious!
