Bidra med feedbackThis was at the new San Marcos location. I put in an order for pickup for mac and cheese to serve 12 people for a birthday party. This was submitted at around 6AM for 3:30PM today. Well ahead of time. I show up and the woman at the front told me they didn't have my order. I provide the details of my order and she goes to the back to check then comes back and asks if I'm sure it was for this location. I confirm again then she goes back again. She comes back with the smallest cup of Mac and cheese they serve. I, again, state that this was an order for 12 people. She rudely takes the bag from my hand without saying a word. She comes back with a slightly bigger cup and I'm just in shock. I again ask her if this is for 12 people. She says yes then rudely disregards me. At this point I am not sure even sure what else to say. I should have asked for a manager in hindsight. It completely caught me off guard. I've never experienced this level of unacceptable and unprofessional behavior. Safe to say I will not be returning.
We are frequent customers because we love the food very much. We went to store 204296 in Carlsbad yesterday afternoon. We were in front of the counter, but the cashier made us wait forever, still occupied with her task. There was no line and it was not a busy time of the day. Eventually, another employee from the back came to take our order. We stood there for at least 5 minutes without any greeting or customer service. We were invisible to her.
The food was given promptly and it was delicious. The southwest salad had lots of avocado and chicken and most importantly the dressing. The Mac and cheese was hot and very good also my turkey bravo sandwich had a lot of turkey and the sauce.Kid-friendliness: Lots of space for the kids to sit.
I absolutely love this Panera! The interior is bright and spotless. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Just the other night, I accidentally dropped my drink (I’m so sorry!), but the staff handled it with such grace; they quickly replaced my drink and started cleaning up the mess immediately. I was really embarrassed, but they were so kind about it, which I really appreciated. I know it’s never fun to clean up after someone else, so thank you for your understanding! It's rare to come across such excellent customer service these days, especially here in Southern California. This experience really made my day!
New location. The employees are great—very friendly and helpful. The parking situation isn’t ideal; the lot is small, so it can fill up quickly on busy days. The previous location had better parking options. However, overall, the food is still delicious and the atmosphere is welcoming.
