Neptune - Cabo San Lucas

We dined last night at the Neptune Restaurant, located within the Villa Del Arco resort in Cabo, Mexico. The restaurant boasts breathtaking ocean views and a captivating atmosphere that sets the stage for a memorable dining experience. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the magnificent sunset view. From the moment we walked up the stairs to the restaurant, we were captivated by the stunning vista overlooking the ocean. It truly added an enchanting touch to our dinner, creating an ambiance that will stay us. However, despite the picturesque views, I must admit that the quality of the food at Neptune Restaurant did not meet my expectations. I decided to indulge in the 15 oz rib eye steak, which carried a hefty price tag of about $90 US dollars. Unfortunately, it fell short of delivering the wow factor I was hoping for. Though cooked to my desired temperature, the steak lacked the tenderness and flavor I would expect from such a high-priced dish. It was just okay, leaving me slightly disappointed considering the expense. That being said, it's essential to note that the jaw-dropping beauty of the surroundings did partially compensate for the average taste of the steak. The stunning backdrop of the sunset and the mesmerizing ocean view created an atmosphere that elevated the overall dining experience. The service at Neptune Restaurant was professional and attentive, with the staff ensuring that we were well taken care of throughout the evening. They were very knowledgeable about the menu and provided helpful suggestions when needed. The waitstaff added a pleasant touch to the overall experience, contributing to the positive aspects of our visit. So, while the Neptune at Villa Del Arco Resort offers a breathtaking dining setting with unparalleled ocean views, the quality of the food, particularly the 15 oz rib eye steak, did not quite match the high price tag. Nevertheless, the unforgettable sunset and overall ambiance made up for it to some extent. If you are looking for a memorable dining experience with exceptional views, Neptune Restaurant is worth considering, but be prepared for the higher prices.

If you're looking for fresh seafood this is the place to go. We ordered the sashimi and fish fried gyozas as an appetizer. Gyozas had fish and chorizo, not bad but wasn't a fan of them being fried. Our entrees included a fried red snapper and a seafood linguini. The snapper came with a side salad. Was pretty good. The seafood linguini was very good all kinds of protein shrimp, octopus, mussels, scallops in a delicious peanut sauce. For desert we had the chocolate cake and the crème brûlée! Both were very scrumptious. The service was great and the view is the beautiful open air beach. Check it out.

I am reviewing as a tourist but this place has amazing food and has a really great vibe to it and I will tell you what it is like later. The only negative thing I have to say is that 1. They didn't fulfill my request to reserve a table with the lands end view (even though that is what I reserved) And they didn't fulfill my request which was very saddening to hear as that is the only reason why I went here was for the view and the food. 2. They also couldn't make a peach Bellini as they didn't have the ingredients for me (since I am under the legal drinking age of Mexico) but I asked for new drink that had no alcohol and they made me a good grapefruit drink and I had two so thank you for solving my problem as my request. Furthermore, The service is great our servers Gabriella and jimmy were constantly refilling drinks and having good attitudes and asking about the food and answering questions. I ordered the lobster which is very good even for the high price point I still ordered it and it did not disappoint! For my appetizer I did the tuna and yellowfin tartare and it was average for a tartare as it had very fatty cuts so I ate about half. I will leave pictures of the lobster and tuna but, the service is great and the food is immaculate!.
