Rambutan - CABLE BEACH

My partner and I went out for dinner on Sunday, April 16th. We opted for the chef's tasting menu and a nice bottle of wine. However, they returned to inform us that the wine we selected was unavailable, which was disappointing. We started with dumplings and satay chicken skewers, which were decent but not outstanding. The crab salad took over an hour to arrive, and while it was refreshing, it lacked flavor and seemed like it could have been pre-made. The herbed chicken main course was overcooked and spicier than expected, with rice that appeared dirty. For dessert, we had a decent ginger creme brûlée but an inedible cassava cake. Despite friendly service, it was inattentive and the meal ended up exceeding $200 for us both. The quality of the food was underwhelming, and while we hope these issues are resolved with the new menu, we recommend trying other restaurants at the resort for a better experience.

Fantastic food, pricey but worth it. Like dining in a 5 star restaurant but with the casual setting of next to the pool. I wanted to try everything on the menu, however was very happy with the choices I made, they were all delicious.

The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was lovely, and the staff were terrific. Thank you for a wonderful meal. I highly recommend trying the duck, and the kids really enjoyed the noodles. This restaurant is a must-visit when staying at the Cable Beach Club Resort.

Big portions so don't make the same mistake we did: oreder one main only! Extremely tasty, fresh food. Service was excellent, staff friendly and efficient.

I loved the food choice and the fact that they accommodated my dietary requirements! The food was delicious!
