Sad thing is we own property nearby and we will never be back to this restaurant thank you again to the server Maddie
I wouldn't recommend spending your time or money on breakfast here! The biscuits taste like they came straight from the freezer, and the bacon is microwaved—just a disappointing experience overall! We ended up paying $57 for three people to eat what felt like just $10 worth of frozen food.
My wife took me and the kids out for Father’s Day on Saturday night, and we ended up waiting an hour for a table. There was plenty of seating and activities to keep us occupied, which made the wait manageable. Unfortunately, once we were seated, it took over an hour and a half for our food to arrive. We understand that weekends can be busy, but the highlight of the evening came when I was served my pork chop without any forks, and the staff member laughed about it. It soon became clear she wasn’t joking, and after waiting more than two and a half hours to eat, we decided to pack up our food and take it home. The final bill was $125 for our family of five, including the tip. We felt this was quite overpriced for the experience we had. We’re not sure if we’ll return.
I ordered the catfish dinner, which came with only one small piece of catfish. When I mentioned this to our server, I was told that portion sizes vary in the kitchen and can change frequently. As for the catfish itself, it was dry, rubbery, and lacking in flakiness. We also tried the alligator bites, priced at $17, but they only gave us 8 small pieces. After spending over $152 and having such a disappointing meal, we've decided we won’t be returning. On a positive note, the ice cream remains the best on the lake, and the service was excellent and friendly. However, we’ve had much better dining experiences at other marinas around Dale Hollow.
