Bidra med feedbackVisited this marina and decided to stop in for food at the local restaurant which is sponsored by Steel Coop in Livingston, TN. First off, the patio faces west and has beautiful Sunsets for which it is known. An employee (I think a manager)stated the patio was not open due to being too busy to clean. There was a 20-30 minute wait with all tables being full so we sat at the bar. I always prefer, if given a chose, to sit and know service will be slower than to stand around waiting for a table. In well ran restaurants the host will give you this option and offer drinks and/or prepared appetizers while you wait for service. This makes customers feel cared for and increases the bill. I sat in front of the kitchen doors so was able to see all the food coming out. Portions are small for the price. I laughed at the onion ring volcano I ordered which was 7-8 beer battered rings stacked up and cost 10.99 But the taste was good and I requested ranch dressing which tasted homemade. We had planned to get burgers but they were very small (maybe 6 oz). I noted most of the food is not on par with prices even for a marina. There were very few seafood options and while Steel Coop restaurant in Livingston is known as a steakhouse there was only one option for this. We ordered the pizza which was very good. I will include pics of the menu. If you go and want a decent deal, pizza starts at 18$ and is your best option. I will also say the staff is very attentive and friendly. The young man who served us deserves 5 stars which why I gave 4 stars overall.

Not your typical marina food! Delicious with generous portions. Marty was as much an ambassador as he was an attentive server. Wonderful afternoon! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Coming now 10 years to Dale Hollow. 8 years the restaurant at Sunset was our favorite. Steel coop took over and the first time we were quite disappointed today we went again thinking we got there at a bad day. But NO same experience. Catfish dinner only one small piece of catfish. After commenting on this answer was the size is determined by the kitchen and is different all the time. Then starting eating the catfish is was dry, rubbery, and not flaky at all. Another disappointing thing was the alligator bites for 17 dollars...olnly 8 small bites? Well after spending moren then 152 dollar and having this disappointment in food we will not come back here. 2 positive notes. The ice cream is still the best on the lake and service is great and friendly. We experienced much better food on Dale Hollow at other marinas
Don’t waste your time or money on breakfast here! Freezer biscuits, microwave bacon.. just gross all the way around! $57 for 3 people to have $10 worth of freezer food.
