The Waterloo Inn - Buxton

Really super local pub. friendly bar staff and a warm welcome from locals. we unexpectedly landed in the local Quizz night. hard asking, but great worth for money and a good laugh. Eating was also great. dog-friendly. they had a place for caravans and camp back and stay a good number of people. great place, the visit of hikers, sights or campers worth.

Armed to find this urigen pub in the middle of a beautiful village. what a beautiful small and friendly campsite. the facilities are clean, the showers are great(this is rare). we all found to be super friendly and the food served was excellent. no wonder they're always busy. we will definitely come back.

The hosts were fantastic who went out of their way to be helpful. The meals were reasonably priced with good portions. The campsite facilities were as expected, however they allowed us to use a fireplace when we asked. The showers were great and fairly powerful for their type. Overall, we had a good time with excellent hosts.

Brilliant pub.. Really friendly staff.. Great location for walks and fantastic value for money for food. Highly recommend. Great beer garden. They even cater for horses!!

If your looking for hearty food with a good old friendly service this is the place for you. Reasonably priced and a darts board for some fun. If you want gourmet fancy food this is not the place for you. Nice to walk from Rivendale Lodges. Would visit again if passing.
