Christina's Cocina Cafe - Butte

It was my husband and I. The restaurant was clean. Staff was working their tails off. One waitress to two dining rooms. We were immedately seated and served water, chips and salsa. Before tasting the salsa, I could smell too much cumin when the salsa hit the table. To no fault of our server, it took 15 minutes to be served. We ordered the combo..two tacos and a burrito. The taco shell was corn...was cooked between a soft taco but not crunchy...almost soggy. Portions of meat, cheese, lettuce were way off. Prices very high for Mexican food. The beans and rice had a flavor that can't be described but undesirable. Not Tex Mex, not Mexican...just different. Upside was the servings were huge. We ate one taco each left the rest. Won't do again.

Love the cilantro rolls! Also had a hot cocoa with peppermint schnapps. So yummy. Flan was also good. Chips and salsa tasty. Waitress was very sweet. Worth the wait.

Casino was great. Bar always full and service hard to get only because its usually packed! Great authentic Mexican/ American food. Not quite south of the border, but its close enough.

This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Montana! The seafood taco salad is amazing!

Extremely disappointing. Upon arrival I was asked if I minded eating in to go containers, which would have been fine if the food would have been worth taking home, it was not. It took quite some time to have my order taken, but the chips were good.. My chicken quesadilla was both burnt and extremely dry with no flavor at all. I asked for no pico and all my items came with pico. The hard corn shell tacos were also quite bland and grease drenched to the point of disintegrating in sogginess. The service was quite good and really the highlight of the visit. I see no reason to go back. The food was uninspired and bland.
