Bidra med feedbackToo busy to frequent, however, the service, food, price and design of the restaurant is top notch.
Would rate this place for dumplings in the area. The pan-fried dumplings came hot and crisp on the bottom, but lacked on the inside. The waiting time was 20 minutes and the place is small and tight. It is stronger for the button designed, but they prefer to eat the dumplings when they are fresh.
Yang's dumplings have just moved into a new store in Deane Street Burwood. This shop has seating and tables for up to 15 people. This shop was only open about three weeks, and they still make a soft opening. I order the COMBO C-Special, which consisted of the curry cattle soup with vermicelli and six steamed pork dumplings for $ 12 for 12 dollars. The dumplings were made fresh at the front of the store, which you can see from the street. The dumplings had a beautiful and thin outer layer with a delicious pork filling. The consistency of the soup was a bit watery with just a few slices of beef, it was fine if I had paired with the dumplings, but if I would order this one by itself, I would have been disappointed. I saw every second person who orders the pork rolls and will try them next time.
Tried this new dumpling joint and ordered her famous pork rolls and her Xiao-long baos. Dumplings were extremely soupy, the broth was richer than others I've tried, big hits from ginger. The only downfall was the bun himself, was a bit of chewy and had better. There are only 2 small tables that are so definitely furnished by a takeabway joint if you had a bigger room so you can sit easily and eat the dumplings immediately. I would still come back to try out your other pasta dishes.
Not the real Shanghai brand Yang's dumplings. Disappointed. And do not taste so good. So you do not recommend for people who tasted true.
