Windmill Restaurant - Burlington

Nice neighbourhood greasy spoon diner!. I work in Burlington, and never knew this place existed (live out of town in Niagara Region). Found via Urbanspoon, and conveniently around a few corners from where I work. I had the Banquet burger, not a bad burger fresh condiments with a 'home ' dilled pickle, nice twist. Windmill has a basic diner menu that I look forward to sampling more of now that I know of 'Windmill ' and it 's 'off the beaten path ' location.

Like Mom's Cooking. June/16/2011 07:10am back again for this place(off the map) just before Royal Rd. This place makes me feel like MOM is in kitchen cooking eggs for her son before school. The only restaurant that is the same quality is Norval Pancake Factory outside of Georgetown. I had 3-eggs Sausage plate with juice and milk...overeasy so I can use the toast for the warm yolk..YUMMMMY Burlington Post Manager is my freind and he took me here 2 years ago 3 times to show me the best place in Burlington. I'm Greekvera on Restaurantica.

My favorite diner. I have been going here since 1984.

Great breakfasts available here nothing fancy but it's fast and tasty. The fried potatoes are exceptional.

Amazing staff and amazing food. I promise you will not be disappointed. Perfect family atmosphere. I don't like eating outside, however, the staff and owner always make me feel at home. They truly are amazing.
