Sunnyside Grill - Burlington

The restaurant recently got new owners who are very sweet and dedicated to providing excellent customer service. The owner's daughter works as a waitress and always makes our children laugh. My son now considers their sunny barbecue his favorite breakfast spot because of her. They also have new potatoes that are a hit with our family - less greasy than other places, which we love. The only thing that could be improved is the noise level when it's busy. Perhaps some adjustments to the infrastructure could help with the acoustics. But overall, it's not a big issue, just a suggestion for improvement.

We used to live near this restaurant and have been coming here for a quick, affordable, and tasty breakfast for years. However, our experience this morning was terrible. The main issue was with the breakfast potatoes, which used to be fantastic. They have recently been changed and are now mushy, sticky, and lacking in seasoning. They used to be fresh, seasoned, and grilled, but now they taste like they were either boiled or microwaved and are bland. They remind me of something you would eat in a nursing home. Our server was new and did her best, but it was clear she hadn't been properly trained. She struggled with menu items that two of us ordered and had difficulty operating the debit machine when it was time to pay. One person in our group ordered three easy eggs, but received four eggs that were very overcooked. We would not return unless these major issues are addressed and the food quality returns to its former standard.

The menu offers a wide variety of options with good portion sizes at excellent prices. The coffee is also very good. The restaurant is in a great location with plenty of parking spaces available.

I wouldn't eat here if it were free. The service is terrible. We sat at the counter, and the people who sat after us waited first and I had to ask a waitress if it was even service at the counter. The restaurant was mostly empty at the time. I asked for an iced tea without ice, and the waitress turned around, filled my glass with ice. No refills offered on very small but expensive wells drinks. Sausage was unusable. A really strange texture. Just two terrible breakfasts for my husband and me. The restaurant has a very cold, dark atmosphere. We hated it from the beginning to the end.

Start by saying service was great. And meal was fast....too fast! Recieved the special traditional breakfast. Eggs...meh ok. Bacon deep fried, potatoes deep fried with no taste. Big cubes of potatoes. Toss in some spices. For the price it was mediocre at best.but won't be back.
