Food was fabulous great casual restaurant loved the open kitchen concept and being able to sit at the kitchen counter. Nicole our server was fabulous. Friendly and knowledgeable We will be back to enjoy the patio and more food..

We were originally planning to dine at Tin Cup tonight, but my husband suggested trying Rust instead. I had anticipated Rust to be more of a special occasion restaurant based on the menu I had seen online, but I am thrilled that we decided to give it a try. The potato croquettes were tasty, and the garlic aioli was delicious. I ordered the short rib, which was amazing, and my husband was very satisfied with his steak choice. We sat at the bar overlooking the kitchen, where the head Chef interacted with guests while preparing appetizers and plating meals. The rest of the cooks were professional as well. The pricing was fair considering the quality of the meal, and the food was simple yet flavorful and well-prepared. I appreciate that the restaurant sources ingredients locally, changes its menu regularly, and uses meats from St. Lawrence Market. I would love to see the short rib become a regular menu item. Overall, I highly recommend Rust as a fantastic addition to the area.

We decided to check out Rust after going to another local resto nearby where we weren’t acknowledged after being sat with menus for what seemed like forever. After arriving at Rust, however, we waited for a few minutes while a server got our table ready and were greeted multiple times by multiple staff members. Such a better vibe than the earlier place we left. The food was fantastic. We happened to walk into Rust while a medical emergency occurred and truly commend the staff for handling the situation so professionally and with the utmost care, especially during a busy time. For all of these reasons, I highly recommend Rust and can say with a degree of confidence that this will be our new go-to spot.

We enjoyed a delicious meal! I had the Rainbow trout it was delicious! Cooked perfect with fingerling potatoes, kale pea pure. My husband had the Bison burger with truffle fries. So amazing, also clearly defined GF options 'yeah '! The desert also GF only one option but fabulous)! Great price $188.00 not including tip for, four mains coctails. We are going back to this hidden gem!!

This was our first visit to this restaurant and I must say, the food was absolutely delicious. The main courses, in particular, were exceptional. The burger was mouthwatering, as was the steak and fries. The hostess and our waiter were both polite and courteous. We were seated inside and could see the care and attention put into every dish, as well as how carefully they were checked before leaving the kitchen. I would definitely return to this restaurant.
