Temazcal Tequila Cantina Burlington

Food was good. The guacamole is some of the best I've ever tasted. Drinks were average, Overall this restaurant is good but not great.

We went for dinner were sitted upstairs. The decor of the restaurant is very nice, Mexican and modern at the same time. However, maybe there was a bit too much light for dinner time... And given the very nice decor of this Mexican restaurant, having those big screen TVs sports bar style everywhere was a downer. Also, no background music : . The food was good. The appetizers were delicious empanadas, tuna tartare, quesadilla). The main dishes were tasty, just not too Mexican though, : . But tasty nonetheless. Overall, it's a good place for gatherings, very spacious; we will return.

I went to Temazcal in Burlington for the first time for my birthday with my best friends. We could not have had a better time! Food was great, drinks were strong, and I got a free dessert! I will certainly be back. As far as room for improvement, I would recommend that everybody who serves tables and/or greets guests be able to speak English. I had asked for some hot sauce, and the lady had no clue what I was saying, and we had to wait for our main waiter (who was awesome) to return and get it for the table.

We have tried this place over half a dozen times and it just keeps getting worse. The service is bizarre. We had dinner reservations for 3 and got seated at a cocktail table! The table could barely hold our glasses and plates, way too tight to dine comfortably. The bar couldn't get drink out in a timely way and they really were not that good when they arrives. The server was distracted and not attentive or gracious. All in all this place is overpriced and under performing. I'm female and was treating and the server let the check for the guys even though I had been the one making the reservation and was clearly paying! Bad form....
