Canteen Kitchen - BURLEIGH HEADS

I tried this place for the first time and ordered a large latte with half strength. It cost $6, which I thought was a bit expensive, but it tasted great. I was a bit confused at first because there are two separate shops - one for food and the other down the street for coffee.

We were seated by a lovely Asian waitress and given a bottle of water at this restaurant. We requested an egg for our two-year-old, but they were out and instead offered us a piece of cake. Unfortunately, an older man came over with a broom and scolded us for causing a mess, suggesting we go outside if we wanted to make a mess. When we mentioned that young children can sometimes be messy, we were verbally attacked. We decided to finish our cake and coffee outside, with my phone ready to call the police in case the aggressive man returned.

I had a spontaneous breakfast at this restaurant and was not disappointed at all! The breakfast was excellent and the chef obviously knows what they're doing. The coffee was also fantastic. I am grateful to have stumbled upon this hidden breakfast gem and will definitely be back. Thank you!

Excellent breakfast menu. the food came very fast and was presented beautifully. Amazing aroma that has been removed from an amazing coffee. fantastic staff. only we regret that we found this place tomorrow that we left burleigh!

Food and service were very good. Portion size not massive but food was tasty. Back street location meant it wasn't busy so we were in and out quickly.
