Maricastana - Burgos

We came here just for drinks: 2 coffees, a smoothie and water. We waited over half an hour until they arrived. Service is very poor!! The staff was not even apologetic.

If you would like to have a completely raw hamburger with some pale fries, go to Maricastana restaurant. After having been waiting for about 45 minutes, the dishes came.Beside that, the waiters were very unfriendly as they even didn't apologize for the bad experience. The restaurant was full of flies too, so it was a complete disaster. Just walk a bit further down the street and you will find very cosy places with food of high quality.

Passing through one of our favourite cities on a ‘long’ drive we decided on lunch. Had 6 tapas and coffees etc and were absolutely delighted with the tasty well presented modern take on tapas. Casual chic bar restaurant and comfortable with excellent friendly service. Muy buen servicio y buena comida muchas gracias. I think this restaurant may also be called En Tiempos de Maricastaña on google maps that’s what came up when I was searching the name to review on my return to Ireland !!

Local bien atendido y muy agradable, especial mención a Lucas un camarero simpatiquísimo y muy eficiente.

Comida innovadora e interesante. Bien presentado. Decoración genial. Tienen un menú en francés e inglés. En el lado negativo, el brownie de mi pareja era grande pero demasiado seco y mi tarta de queso deconstruida era divertida, pero un poco como comer mezcla para pastel.
