Bidra med feedbackLoved this place! Treated like family on our 1st time there! The food was delicious! Can't wait to go back! Also wanted to say thank you for saving my life with the cup of ice you gave me on our way back, on that super hot day! Totally got me though the rest of that 60 mile ride!
Walden's: excellent food, staff, atmosphere very bicycle path friendly. That was my second stop and it's good enough to become a bike ride destination from him. Very nice people, they are very bicycle path friendly. When I came to a few cyclists, they went away, and when I left a few on bicycles, they came in. I had a western omelet and it was excellent. They asked if they could refill my water bottles, they filled them with ice and water, it won't be much better than that. The omelet was huge and I will definitely stop there.
Walden's in Burgettstown is always my lunch at the Panhandle Rail Trail. Family owned and operated, Walden 's has an inviting atmosphere and delicious food at reasonable prices. On summer Sunday they have a BBQ menu: a selection of ribs, chicken or pig together with two sides for $10! I had ribs, green and potato salad. Everything is homemade and incredibly good. If you are in the Burgettstown region, PA, visit Walden 's!
Okay, this place was amazing. Had a fantastic time with our waitress and complained about the state of the world and its home state of Texas. If you are waiting to catch a plane in Pittsburgh, take a trip here. Food was amazing and you will have a very unique experience!
Just go! We saw it last week on a bike tour and came again today for another ride and lunch. It was worth it. Fun place, really good food. Right in front of the panhandle.
