Bidra med feedbackSushi Dake is my new go-to spot. The food here is so good and fresh! I didn't think a hole in the wall would be this good. I had a hard time finding a decent sushi place in Burbank, so I'm really happy I came across this place. Portions are generous. Staff is very friendly and attentive. I'll definitely keep coming back!!
Sushi Dake is also a great place to dine in for sushi lovers. The sushi chef is polite and easy on the eyes and has a sense of humor. Discovered on casual run-ins during work breaks or passing by). I always rate a sushi restaurant on its cut, presentation and quality of sashimi octopus. And unagi eel) sauce; It's one of my favorite dishes to order when ordering sushi. My sashimi was served with slivered lemons. I liked that.
The sushi was really good. The staff is very friendly. Great experience and we will be back.
I love this sushi place. It's small but the sushi here is fresh. The rolls are evenly cut and not too big. The staff is friendly and polite. They have a television where they play sports. During baseball season you can catch a Dodger game, or a Laker game during basketball season if you're seated in the right seat. Kids can draw art and post it on the wall. The sushi bar chefs will greet you and say thank you when you leave. They have Sake and beer.We love the Michael roll as it has a bit of spice in it including jalapeño with cream cheese, but all the rolls are good. This place is away from downtown Burbank but can also get busy later at night during the weekends. The wait times are usually not bad.
Not the best sushi I've had, but still a good dinner. The helpful and friendly staff made up for anything. As did their ramekins. For me, when I eat sushi I also want to be sent back to the Edo period of Japan and the art upon this dishware does just that. I couldn't help imagine a solemn tortured Japanese artist living in a one bedroom wooden house with paper walls sketching out their next masterpiece. And then only to be interrupted by the screams of the townsfolk as a fire quickly ravishes through the village, burning down all of their very flammable abods. Luckily they were able to save their family, but hundred of his incomplete sketches are gone forever being gobbled up by the hot inferno.Luckily one made it out unscathed and I get to eat wasabi off of it at the restaurant.
