The Hydeaway - Buhl

Although I didn't eat at this restaurant, I must say it's a surprisingly welcoming and enjoyable little spot. Typically, small-town bars can be a bit standoffish toward newcomers, but that’s definitely not the case here. The staff and other patrons were incredibly friendly, making me feel like a regular right away. While I don't drink, I've heard the cocktails are quite strong, and they offer a diverse selection of beverages, including plenty of Truly. The music is lively, the atmosphere is warm, and the space is compact yet clean and comfortable. There's also a spacious outdoor patio, making it a fantastic option for a night out or even some karaoke.

I rated the food low because the menu only offers pizza, but the bartenders are incredible! There’s fantastic entertainment all the time, and occasionally you can catch some surprise performances during the week. Owners Nora and Ed truly look after their bartenders, who in turn provide excellent service to the customers. It’s a great situation for everyone involved!

A cozy family bar in a small town, it's a great spot to take a break while enjoying the trails.

The bartender had a little trouble understanding when i order just jim beam or when i asked what kind of bourbon they had but besides that they were nice and atenative
