As a person who lived in Germany for 10+ years I felt this was a good food experience stateside. I will definitely go back.One thing I (my kids) didn’t expect was for the pasta with cheese to be so similar to macaroni and cheese. Probably could clarify that with guests when ordering to help manage expectations?The cucumber salad and everything else was pretty authentic. There was even an accordion player entertaining folks in the beer garden.The only thing I noticed that keeps me from giving a solid 5 stars is that I watched a server eat whipped cream from his finger and didn’t even wash his hands afterwards… a bit off putting.Parking: Paid parking

We've been going here for a long time now (every month for over two years) and I must say I'm becoming pretty disappointed in the food! It's really been going down the tubes now the last few months or so! They used to have specials on the menu, but not anymore! Their regular menu has been reduced as well. The quality of the meals has gone down, but the price keeps going up! If it wasn't for the excellent beer and great German atmosphere, I fear that this place would be in big trouble!

Less items on the menu to choose from, smaller portions but prices higher. $15 to park is outrageous for Buffalo. (Know your audience). Not many people at the restaurant at 7:00 on a Friday, I worry about their future.

Always great music with the Bergholz German Band. Really enjoyed our food, which arrived quickly and hot. Both our waitress, Grace, and the young lady who brought our food were supper friendly. What a great atmosphere!

I felt bad for our server. She had our party of 6 and another party of 7 when a huge group of what appeared to be youth hockey players and parents arrived and slammed her section. Management gave her no help and the large party gave her a hard time. She worked as hard as she could but there's only so much one person can do. As a former server myself having worked in food service throughout my 20s, I legitimately felt bad for the lack of help and support she appeared to have received.
