Montezuma's - Buderim

I made a reservation online for a party of four. There was no mention of an hour-long wait for our food. We were served our first drinks promptly, but after an hour, there was still no sign of the duck dish we ordered. The manager simply stated that they were busy and couldn't do anything about it. The staff, although apologetic, seemed untrained to handle the situation. Ultimately, we left without being served any food, so I cannot comment on the quality of the dishes.

This restaurant is extremely noisy and the food took a while to be served. When it finally arrived, it was cold and mediocre. I do not plan on returning.

This place had a great reputation, so we tried for years of successful meals with other franchises. Food has no taste and tastes almost reheated, service ok, meals generous in size, cost bit excessive, but would recommend to Caloundra mexican instead

We booked for dinner tonight and were informed when we arrived at 7:00 that the table was required for another booking at 8.30. No problem, we ordered pretty fast. First red flag the waitress did not write the order and lied to her memory. The drinks came fast, like a duck, and then we waited. At 7.55 a.m. we talked to a waitress and tried to compromise by saying that we had the starter (nachos) at the table and would take the rest as takeaway. She agreed and went to the kitchen to talk to the staff. While she was gone, two of the capitals came to the table. No nachos yet. The manager came to talk to us, and the nachos came with another main. We were assured that they had found another table for the 8.30 booking so we could stay. The food was average and we didn't finish it. When we talked to the waitress about not writing orders, she smiled and thanked us. The manager was basically the same, and now read the reviews below, I think it's because she heard everything before. The restaurant was clean, but incredibly loud. Apparently it was always great... it's certainly not now. So disappointing.

We really enjoyed our meals here, it was delicious exactly how i like it, was disappointed to see prices had gone up yet meals are much much smaller, i got a full plate of beef nachos when they came out, took up probably half the plate not the full plate as it normally would. $20 is a good price still, however if someone orders a full plate... give a full plate, its what we are paying for.
