Bidra med feedbackNow it's called Aubergine. It has a healthy food concept with hummus and so on appetizer, so I don't think it's French. Based on another review, I ordered seafood pasta. It was okay, but not unforgettable.. Local beer wasn't good. I recommend taking Heineken or any other way. Service was friendly.
It was more than a culinary experience: the amazing food was surronded by a french atmosphere design, music, a wonderful wine menu. The service was perfect. I strongly recommend this restaurant.
Good restaurant in the old part of Bucharest with nice french style food, nice starters and main courses (we had fish and veal), good service, but a bit pricey.
Had a nice diner at Restaurant Bon , recently restyled in a sustainable way (using old construction materials) . Ground floor does not invite too much as a restaurant but first floor gives a nice positive surprise. Good atmosphere with French background music. Food was more than average than what you can expect in Bucharest , had a good classic french onion soup as starter with the duck as main dish. The primavara desert can be recommend as well. My dish partner prefers to eat vegan style and the cook came to our table to discuss the possibilties and wishes beside the menu . We appreciated this personal touch a lot , it shows they take care of their customers. We can surely recommend and will go more often ! Last but not least , they have a non-smoking area in the restaurant which is not so commonly found in Romania but highly desirable given the heavy smoking habits in Romania
I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere of Bon. I ordered a fish dish and it was amazing. I spent the rest of my time in Bucharest to find similar dishes in other restaurants, and nobody could compare. While the service is somewhat slow, the ingenious food is worth it.
