Chaps Real Pit Bbq - Buchanan Dam

This place just blew me out of the water!!! as 25 year bbq pit master this is Some of the best I think I've ever had as not of my own lol. Now I won't go anywhere else. just has a great vibe of that true Texas bbq shack feeling. love the outdoor seating. The copped sandwich was excellent most of all the Service was excellent. Great job

Don't waste your time or money . Stoped in for a quick lunch for the FIRST and LAST time ever. The lady at the window taking orders was pretty rude and discriminatory. (Maybe even racist) The brisket was good, but there's plenty of better places in Canyon Lake. Places where you won't get discriminated against. DONT BOTHER TO EAT HERE. Just go little further down the road to another place that is actually happy to have your business.

I am a local and I get BBQ from the Real Pit BBQ at least twice a week. The brisket and smoked Turkey are our favorites. We also order a smoked Turkey and all the sides every Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Good bbq. I am a fan of their ribs and their brisket sandwiches. Nice deep rich smoky bbq. It is convenient to my location, about 5 minutes away from me, and are at the intersection of River Road and FM 2673. Some drawbacks are they close very early (6pm) and are not consistantly open during regular posted hours. Otherwise, try them out.

This was the absolutely worse place with terrible customer service. The so called lady taking orders was so rude and discriminatory. I will never spend my money in a place like that!!!!
