Cafe Elia - Bruniquel

We stopped here on a hot afternoon and ate ice creams. We sat outside until the waitress suggested we sit in the cool garden which was beautiful. Like many restaurants I suspect they don't serve food after 2 pm. I also heard Madame refuse a booking for Sunday evening.

It took 45 minutes just to get a cold salad. The food was very basic just a salad with cheese and duck. We had only 2 slides of bread. The location is nice but that’s it.

Having trekked up the steep inclines of Bruniquel on a hot afternoon, it was a pleasure to sit in a shaded terrace drinking cold beer
