Bidra med feedbackIf you’re looking for view then go for it because this is the only positive thing you will find. We slept here for 2 nights. The room and the whole structure is very old, not that clean, not well organized. The outside also is also unmanaged. You can smell musty everywhere. Staff is polite but this is not enough and what a nightmare reaching it!!!
Firstly let me say it is a baita and not a restaurant, baita's are there for people off the main roads and enjoying the mountains. The food should be good quality ingredients, good price and filling. Today we had lunch at this Baita, the service was irregular, which is kind of acceptable if everything else is ok. We had a antipasti for 2 at a cost of 18 euros, there was almost nothing for this cost, we had 1 primi which was a pizzocheri 10 euros which again was very small then we had three mains rabbit, cinghiale (wild pig) and stinco (pork shank) 39 euros and 2 pieces of apple sponge 9 euros. To drink we had been warned off the house wine but ended up with it as the only other non sparkling wine was terrible. The house wine was drinkable but not adding the afternoon's pleasure as a reasonable bottle of lombardian red wine would have. Add water, coffees and a ridiculous 2 euro per head cover charge and our final bill was 100euro. Normally, if you read my other reviews, you would see I don't take desserts but the portions were tiny and i had no choice! If you are out walking, need some sustenance, give it a miss, there are other baitas a little further up, i cant say they are an better but they wont be worse.
Excellent dishes, delicious donkey braised, also good porcini mushrooms, all accompanied by a good polenta. we will return
