Bidra med feedback2024: I do-not recommend anyone coming to this horrible, disrespectful restaurant! The past few times coming here have been awful. I called and spoke with the manager Vasile over the phone, he was very nice and friendly to me. He advised me he'd take care of everything on our next visits. In mid May 2024 my family and I went for dinner and I asked to speak with the Manager Vasile who I had previously spoken with and was advised he no longer works there anymore. I told the lady that he said he would take care of me because of what had occurred and she replied, I cannot do anything for you, he's no longer here! I don't care if he is working there or not, what I do care about is treating your valued customers with respect. After coming here since I was a young kid, my time here has now expired! I will not tolerate anyone disrespecting me or my family. In regards to the dinner the evening after that ridiculous conversation with the lady, the food wasn't any good, again! It was a good run, but all good things must come to an end eventually. I do-not recommend this restaurant to anyone! Also, and most importantly of all, they do-not support the US Military , which is appalling and disgraceful behavior! Have a Blessed day.... 2021: My family and I have been going here since we were kids. Wonderful service, great food, and always consistent. I highly recommend you give them a try, you will not be disappointed. We all love this place, and I'm sure you will too. Thank you Stan for making mom's B'day last night very special... Have a Blessed Day. David
We were a party of eight. I had made a reservation. We were taken to a table for at least 12 people right near the ovens and serving area. I asked the hostess for another table for eight and she cheerfully told me that she would take away some chairs and the table would be perfect for eight people. It wasn’t. Conversation was strained at best. What a disappointment as this was a birthday celebration. Everyone liked their food which was fortunate because the prices for everything were steep. What could have been a nice nostalgic dinner turned out to be underwhelming. The one highlight of the evening was our waiter, Danny, who was terrific and took good care of us.
This place has been around for as long as I can remember. The food is so good, and the servings are at least two meals in one! The salad bar does not disappoint and either does the drinks. It is a little expensive but you definitely get what you pay for!! Worth every dollar
Hadn't been here in years. The Cesar salad was very good. The server brought us a pitcher of water but never asked if we wanted something else to drink. The portions are huge. I was disappointed with the seafood combo. Except for the fish, it was all fried. If it had been clear that it was all fried, I would have gotten the other seafood combo. My husband got surf n turf. He said that the lobster was very good, but the filet was not seasoned.
If you 're looking for a trip down memory lane, The Pub is your spot. This place is the definition of old school, having opened its doors in 1953, and it 's still rocking the original decor. There 's a unique charm to it, almost like stepping into a medieval theme park. The ambiance alone makes it worth a visit. The food? Absolutely delicious. I had the Cattlemen prime rib, and let me tell you, the portion was huge. I almost never take home a doggy bag, but this time, I did. I 'll be enjoying prime rib for the next few days. Their salad bar, which was a standout back in '53, is still decent, but I did miss the anchovies in the Caesar salad. Anchovies get a bad rap, but they’re a hidden gem in so many dishes. Now, about the service. Our waitress was a bit of a downer. She was short-tempered and off-putting. One of our party members asked for a split check, and she curtly replied, No split checks. When we got to our table, she asked if we wanted tap or bottled water. I said Miller Lite, and she snapped, I 'm only asking about water! It didn’t stop there; another person asked for their steak rare, and she shot back, We don’t cook anything rare! Our bill for the night came to $250, and that was with just one bottle of Miller Lite and the rest on sodas. Out of politeness, we left a 20% tip, but honestly, she deserved zero for her attitude. Overall, I’m glad The Pub is still around, but I 'm not sure how much longer it will be if they keep cutting corners. The old-school charm is great, but the service and some aspects of the food, like the salad bar, need serious attention. Here 's hoping they can bring back the magic of their glory days!
