The Golden Skillet - Brookneal

The staff was friendly, but the kitchen service was quite slow. There were three of us dining, and we received our dishes at staggered intervals: one plate arrived after 15 minutes, another came 8 minutes later, and my meal was the last to arrive, taking an additional 10 minutes. I'm not sure what happened in the kitchen. Interestingly, two of the plates were daily specials featuring the same dish.

This place has the best chicken I've ever tasted, and the service is always friendly! I just wish there was a location closer to me!

This was my first time dining at this restaurant, and it was a fantastic experience. The waitress was incredibly friendly, and the food was delicious. We also didn't have to wait long for our meals. I will definitely be returning!

Ate there a few times until a close friend told me how the cooks don't wash their hands, or use gloves. Meaning they're touching your food with their bare hands, as well as they will drop food on their nasty floors and throw it back in the fryers and still serve it to customers. Unnecessarily unsanitary. No thanks.
