The Golden Skillet - Brookneal

It was my first time eating here and it was great. The waitress was super sweet and the food was great. We didn't have to wait too long either. Will definitely go back!

Staff were friendly. Cook was slow. Three of us ate. Got one plate after 15 minutes, another 8 minutes later and my plate was last after 10 more minutes. Don't know what went on there. Two of the plates were a daily special of the same food.

Best chicken these is, smiling service. Wish there was one near me!!

My husband and I went in to have a meal and sat at a table for 15 minutes and no one came over to acknowledge that we were there. Two young ladies kept watching us but no one provided services. I truly felt discriminated against. What has happened to this place?

The food is always good here, especially their hot dogs.
