Went here for a gathering with some co-workers for an end of the year celebration. Ordered some simple eggs and French fries and waited over 40 minutes for some eggs. Some of my co-workers waited longer than me for simple things like a sausage on a bun. The drinks were watered down, and when I finally got my food, the eggs were salty, and the fries were under cooked. 13 dollars for what! I'm never going here again.

These guys hosted a birthday party for myself and 17 people last night.The manager helped me select the vegan and regular options for my guests and personally kept in contact with me several times during the week preceding my event.The food was absolutely amazing (their sausage plate was exceptional) and the service personnel was out of this world with efficiency and promptness.I can't wait to plan another dinner party with them.Vegetarian options: The vegan sausages were amazing.

Nice to have an authentic feeling German restaurant in Fort Greene! The Bratwurst and Kasewurst meals were great. Brezel was delicious too, their mustard is AMAZING. Would definitely return, ample indoor and outdoor seating. Service was a bit slow.

Ordered food to take out for lunch, had a Rosé while I waited. Friendly bartender/ waiter. The best thing about Black Forest is their consistency, in food and staff. They get right everytime. Neighborhood staple.
