Initially, we weren't certain if we had ordered all four or just two, so we hesitated to bring it up. It wasn't until we received the bill that we confirmed there should have been four. We informed the manager, who glanced at our receipt and then walked away without saying anything. We ended up waiting 20-25 minutes for a response, which made us feel quite uncomfortable, as if we were begging for food or money. Finally, one of the receptionists told us that the refund would be processed in 72 hours. It left us feeling disheartened. That said, their food is quite good.
Here’s what I ordered: - Cajun fries: Delicious - Mozzarella sticks: Tasty - Cajun platter: Great As for the service, the hostess was a bit distracted (she was on her phone) and took a while before greeting and seating us. We requested a highchair, but she never returned with it, so my friend went to get one himself. However, our server Kevin was excellent. It seemed like he was running half the restaurant and also bartending, but he still managed to be very attentive. Although it took a little longer for us to place our orders, we didn't mind at all because he handled everything so well. He quickly brought us our drinks and our food shortly after we ordered, plus everything was correct. He was also kind enough to recommend the ice cream place next door. We were too full to go, but maybe next time! I also noticed that server Tommy works there too—he's fantastic! I would always recommend asking for him. The bathroom was clean (the hostess had just finished cleaning it), which was appreciated. Parking can be a bit tricky, so just be careful when crossing the road because drivers can be a bit fast.
The food was fantastic! I really enjoyed the service too! Overall, everything was excellent for my first visit!
They demand tips:I came here with my wife and kids to celebrate my daughters birthday and at they end they demand a tip. Everything was fine till the demand part. Well they messed that up because In the United States, a tip is not legally required and the amount of the tip is at the discretion of the customer. The Act “MFLSA” . employers that demand tipping policies violates the MFLSA Act, Taking a Tip Credit on demand is against the law. Don’t be fooled. If they demand a tip you’re entitled to take action and sue the company. I will return and hopefully they demand again so I can sue them.
The order was left at the wrong house. My wife had to run in the rain down 3 houses. The driver apologized as he drove off, but it makes me mad that we or tip in advance. The food is excellent and Captain Crab is great.
