Garrison House - Brookline

We came to visit family looking for an evening dinner. beautiful menu choices, good food and service. many choices.

What a pleasant surprise! brunch and live music! the host opened the door for us and greeted us cordially and wished us a happy new year. the waitress was so nice and helpful. she offered us great recommendations. also the other servers were helpful. the whole place was still decorated for christmas and looked amazing. the food was delicious (the donut holes and the short nativity were amazing; the kale and ei flatbread was ok) and a great worth. the musician (singer, gitarrist and played the harmonika) was fantastic! we are happy to come back and try the breakfast poutine!

I and my family loved the restaurant that eat is great, the environment and participation is fantastic and the live music is very good!

We love garrison house for Sunday brunch! have been a few times and eating is always amazing (we have tried almost everything at this point! service fast and the most amazing live music.

Positives: All dishes were perfectly prepared,, distinctively flavored and portioned well. This is reason enough to go here. Negatives: Music was too loud. Service was adequate.
