Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Brookings

I've only gotten drinks sweet potatoes (I'm gluten free so much of the meals have gluten).. Wasnt a big fan of the sweet potatoes. I've never asked if they could make the eggs with no wrap, to make it gf, maybe I'll do that one day!Drinks are OK. The mocha madness is pretty strong I've asked to hold the Strawberries before, and still had a strawberry chunk in the bottom. Their protein powder is a bit gritty. Overall, this place is alright. But I prefer juice stop in Sioux falls if I have a choice.

What a great cafe! Very good service, amazing drinks, good food (yes, they also serve food, and an amazing atmosphere! I got my order really fast, and it tasted really good. Overall, I would (and will come here again.

Tropical smoothie has great service. Especially Carley, what a great manager. I would give her a raise! So very helpful. What a good child. Her parents raised her very well!!

My boyfriend and I went there today because we thought we would try it out for the first time together and overall our experience was terrible. When we first got there we were sitting at the speaker for about 6 minutes then when they finally took our order they seemed to have an attitude when we got to the window we paid $13.09 for two smoothies. Already overpriced. After they take our money at least 5-6 girls just stood by the window smiling and laughing at my boyfriend and we waited what felt like forever just to get our two things. when we received our first smoothie the girl who handed it to my boyfriend gave me a nasty look then we had to wait about 4 more minutes just for the second. You would think with the amount of useless workers there the service would be fast and efficient but no. As we were leaving town I noticed on my smoothie it said you 're cute which was obviously meant for my boyfriend seeing as how only girls were working at the time we went there. Now we know why they were standing there like they had nothing better to do with their lives. One of my best friends knows a girl that works there who witnessed it happen and knows it was meant for my boyfriend for sure. Never going back there. Service was slow, unprofessional, inappropriate, uncalled for. Do not go there unless you want to pay for overpriced smoothies, Rude teenage girls, slow service, and overall unprofessionalism. If you 're old enough to have a job you 're old enough to have some common sense and respect. Disappointed I can 't get a refund. Will continue to share my terrible experience. That was the first and last time I will ever go back there again.
