Shalel - Broad Channel

Intimate setting that is unlike that of any restaurant I’ve been to in NYC. Spinach pies were 10/10.

Had eggplant croquettes and a glass of wine at the bar. This was my first time there. It's very lovely from what I could see. Very dark, private, romantic. Each area looked different, like caves, I think I even saw a “waterfall”? Wished I could've seen the whole location. Restaurant seemed to be fully booked, that's a good sign. Staff were very polite.

Loved this place. Intimate private rooms, great service and great food. Waitress was attentive. We'll be back.

I absolutely loved this place. The staff was amazing, the location was terrific. Perfect date night spot if you want to really impress someone. Low lighting, quieted ambience, perfect for an intimate night. PS — order the squid. Our waitress told us it was so good that it would make us cry. I honestly haven’t stopped thinking about it since.

Take on middle eastern food. Lebanese Israelis Moroccan fusion. very tight space. but waitress was super friendly. amazing sweet riesling.
