Mad Dog Beans Mexican Cantina

My friends and I went to Trivia Tuesday and had an amazing time. The upstairs is great for groups and the outdoor area is set right on the famous Stone Street. We got their passion fruit mango margarita tower split between 4 people and it was a great deal. We ordered their guacamole and chips and it was incredibly fresh. The portions were great for the tacos we got and had nice tortillas.

Kid friendliness: We were traveling with two kids (7yrs and 2yrs). They were hot and tired after playing at Battery Park, but the staff at the restaurant were incredibly friendly. They gave us a low top table which was great for the youngest, and even brought some items to the table for the kids to play with so my husband and I could finish our meal. It was a very hot day,and when we left they offered to give us water in to go cups. We didn't need it, but we're very touched by the offer. It was another example of how considerate they were. When we thanked them they told us that they were happy to do it because they love kids which we could tell! We will definitely bring the family back next time we are in the area!

Authentic mexican kitchen with an American touch, huge portion sizes, delicious! Great atmosphere especially on the patio. Recommended Vegetarian options: Few vegetarian options

The food was incredible and the vibes were positive and welcoming. My server Hadelly was super sweet and provided exceptional customer service. All her recommendations were delicious! The shrimp quesadilla, wings, guacamole and chips and Mexican street corn were to die for! Between the service, amazing food and drinks it felt like I was on vacation. Wonderful staff, delicious food and drinks, great music and atmosphere! I can’t wait to come back. 10/10 I highly recommend! Thanks for making me and my bestie feel like I was on a tropical island while in the heart of the financial district!
