Ristorante a condizione famigliare. Molto curato e personale gentile. Le vellutate sono davvero eccezionali.

Located on the main drag in Brissago, this family-owned restaurant is nondescript from the outside and therefore easily overlooked. Opened year round (one of the few in Brissago) and frequented by locals, San Marco serves tasty Swiss and Italian fare at very reasonable prices. Cordon Bleu is the house specialty and they do it up as good as any fancy-schmanzy place around the world. Today, thoroughly enjoyed the lunch menu (CHF 14.00) - fresh salad, followed by grilled bratworst and perfectly-prepared risotto. If you're looking for tasty local eats at reasonable prices in touristy Brissago, this is the place.

Sehr nette Bedienung, das Essen war hervorragend. Gemütlich eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich wohl bei Olga und Alain.

Having arrived quite late in the day being quite Hungary and with no hotel restaurant, we weren't quite eager to spend too much time optimizing a restaurant. We walked into the first one available. It was empty. Not a good sign. Nevertheless, we sat down and ordered and our instincts were vindicated. Nice salad, excellent pasta, great service and very reasonable prices.
