We loved our experience at Happy Boy! Inside it was fully booked, but we didn't mind. We sat outside under the lights and it was magical. The service was exceptional. Great choices on the menu, which made it difficult. I had the Mapo Tofu. It was delicious and made with mushrooms. The veg spring rolls were also lovely.

We went here knowing that we would be able to have a few options veganised for us, and we were so impressed with the ease and grace of our experience. All the vegetarian options were vegan except for one. They were super happy to help out with any questions. They even said that they could do the banquet option completely vegan (which is highly unusual in my experience . We had the Fungus Fried Rice, Burnt Broccolini and Many Mushrooms Much Tofu, which was enough for two people. Would have loved to order more, but was too full after sharing three dishes. Lovely staff, interesting menu; a great experience overall! Will definitely come back for the banquet another time : A great place to dine with non vegan or gluten free friends as well, as everyone can find something lovely on the menu.
