Food was awesome! We LOVED the lamb! They were able to make a wonderful spaghetti bolognese for our son as well. Nice ambiance as well!

Johannes and Chris offered amazing service in the restaurant. They were thoroughly professional, knowledgable, friendly and attentive and went beyond what was required to ensure a superb dining experience at The Point.

The breakfast buffet came with our room price which made this breakfast good but not awesome. It doesnt warrant the $32 price tag but it is good quality and felt standard for hotel buffet. Pod machine coffee was good but not a fan. Would have liked to see a chef cooking at the buffet like other hotel breakfast buffets and more gluten free options. Really nothing provided for a gluten free diner. The only labelled item was the hash browns and they were served in the same bain marie as a pastry item. All good but just not what I expected and read from others reviews. Staff were excellent and very happy and approachable.

We stayed at the point hotel so breakfast was a start. Good variety of food, fresh and clean. The service here was great too. Friendly knowledgeable stuff. On Sunday morning they has live music playing in the back ground, very relaxing and a great way to start the day. That evening was a no brainer to have dinner there. Steak and lamb was our choices. My steak was accompanied with caramelise onions and I traded potatoes for seasonal vege. What a great choice that was. They best and most simple way of cooking the greens. Delicious. Steak was amazingly cooked. The lamb was amazing also. This was accompanied with yummy sauce. Perfect all round.

We included in our stay at the Point Hotel the buffet breakfast at the Lamberts Restaurant located on the ground flour of the hotel. Can honestly say that the buffet is the best I have ever had. The range of food options is impressive in itself - from the hot choices of cooked to perfection scrambled eggs, omelets, bacon, mushrooms, tomatos, hashbrowns (and many more), to fresh fruits, various breads and pastries, the list goes on - but what really makes this buffet stand out is the quality. Fresh smashed avocado, sourdough bread, short cut bacon with little fat, tropical juices, salami, fresh fruits(and many more) - items of food I never expected to be in a buffet. Amazing! I would recommend this to anyone staying at the hotel or who wants a fantastic breakfast feed!
