Beach Burrito Company - Brisbane

Yup I was not a fan. I was recommended this place by a work colleague so we went as a group. The staff who served us was great and I cannot takeaway from the service but the food certainly left a lot to be desired. I had a chicken burrito and some had the same and others had their salad and bowl. For me there was very little flavour in the burrito and similar comments from the team as well from their meals. The setting is nice. I would prob go back for their jugs/alcohol but in terms of food I'm not a fan

Slooooow sub par food. Do yourself a fav our and go elsewhere. Not cheap either.. My enchilada style burrito was 20$! Compared with GyG, this is terrible value, considering it is half as good and at least 10x slower! Cool digs though.

Don't be in a hurry if you are going here, nor should you be hungry as the food takes ages to arrive. I was there on a Tuesday night and there were very few other customers. It took over half an hour for my food to arrive and in that time I had no contact with any of the staff. The food was ok but I won't be going back.

From all the Mexican restaurants I've been to in Brisbane, this is on the bottom of my list. Absolutely no flavour, unlike Mexican food. The tortilla was stale, the chicken flavourless and dry, not enough toppings or sauce. My friend was really disappointed with her salad. I had a taste and that was enough...she couldn't finish it because it was drenched in this strange dressing and it was also so bland. The lettuce seemed like it was a week old. They only had one type of sauce on the table and it had dry bits all over the bottle, couldn't even use it to add some type of flavour. What a shame as they've got a really cool spot and concept. If only they put enough thought to the food.

I enjoyed my salad and it came out really quick but there was a bit too much dressing on it for my liking. The salsa ended up making it a bit too much and overpowered the dish.
