Shan Tandoori - Brighton and Hove

I have been frequenting this curry restaurant for approximately 4 years. The food is consistently delicious and affordably priced. The delivery is always prompt and the food arrives hot within the estimated time frame. I am hesitant to dine anywhere else!

We ordered takeout from this restaurant last night for the first time and it was amazing. The chicken tikka Dhansak and chicken tikka Balti were both delicious with fantastic flavors and spices, tender meat, generous servings, and good prices. The onion bhajis were the largest and freshest I've ever had. We are thrilled to have discovered this excellent local curry restaurant!

Title says it all. Will never go back there for takeaway. Poor service. Everything tasted bland. Waited ages for delivery

Ordered from here yesterday, I had lamb korma and my partner had a Ceylon. We both enjoyed our meals, and plenty left for another meal the following day. The meat was very good, and the curry very flavoursome. Will return. Thank you

I've had some nice curries from this place near me but I've heard that very many Indian takeaways don't use lamb in their curries but substitute other meats. I am absolutely certain that my lamb Ceylon that I had the other day was beef (very nice... but the dishonesty). Where is the checking procedure? Pete (Mile Oak)
