Ladies Mile - Brighton and Hove

Absolutely beautiful roast, delicious and plentiful. Little’n enjoyed her brownie and ice cream! Lovely staff, nothing is too much trouble. I was very surprised we were able to get a booking same day because the food and service is consistently excellent here. Thank you so much

After following Brighton roasts on Instagram I found a review for the ladies mile pub Sunday roast then remembered we'd had their Christmas dinner during lock down and how amazed we were by it. So I decided for our wedding anniversary to go for a roast and thought let's give it a go and I tell you what I'm 100% doing that again. Had the pork belly that was absolutely amazing the crackling was bang on for me the wife had the chicken and loved it. Can't recommend this place enough 10/10 food 10/10 on the staff as they were so friendly and extremely polite 10/10 on quickness of the food served and it came out hot. They also sell Beavertown neck oil which is a bonus. We will be back to try the midweek menu next

In short, you can never go wrong with lunch at Ladies Mile. My daughter opted for a halloumi burger but she’s a fussy one so upon request it was easily agreed she could swap her fries for garlic bread, all of which she really enjoyed. I opted for pork belly roast and as usual it’s worthy of top marks, my only disappointment is it beat me and it was pointless taking home my crackling and bit of pork I couldn’t manage because I start my diet shakes tomorrow so wouldn’t be able to finish it then!! (Yes, new year, new me rubbish! The pork belly was served with a giant Yorkshire pud, carrots, cabbage, cauliflower cheese, carrot and swede mash, beetroot, roast spuds and lashings of gravy, all of which were absolutely divine. Staff amazing as always, we were well looked after, nothing was too much trouble. Thanks for having us. Happy new year xxx
